博士,教授,博士生导师。国家重点学科劳动卫生与环境卫生学学术带头人。2005年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。1990年本科和1993年硕士毕业于同济医学院,2001年获德国埃森大学医学博士学位。1996-1997年在美国国立职业安全卫生研究所工作,1999-2004年在德国埃森大学医学院职业卫生与医学研究所工作,2002年聘为高级研究员。2004年回华中科技大学同济公共卫生学院,现任公共卫生学院劳动卫生与环境卫生学系主任。

 

主要研究方向

职业流行病学、环境粉尘的健康危害及其机制。

 

 

主要业绩和创新成果

应用流行病学和分子生物学等方法开展环境空气颗粒物包括生产性粉尘的组分及其健康研究,包括生产场所有害因素监测与评价、接尘人群健康危害流行病学研究、空气颗粒物心肺损伤机制研究(炎症、免疫、易感性)、个体呼吸保护及产品研究等,取得了一些研究成果。在粉尘健康危害研究领域有一定的国际地位和影响力,研究组建立的7万矽尘接触工人队列是世界上该领域最大的可靠队列,其研究结果不仅是国际癌症研究中心评价矽尘致癌能力的主要依据之一,也是各国修订矽尘职业接触限值的重要参考依据。先后主持德国和美国国家级研究所资助的国际合作研究数项,主持有国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家836项目子题、国家支撑计划项目子题等。2014年获国家科技进步二等奖1项(第一名),2007年获湖北省科技进步一等奖一项(第一名)。是《工作场所有害因素职业接触限值》、《工作场所空气中粉尘测定》等八项国家职业卫生标准的主要起草人,发表SCI收录论文80余篇,出版主编的专著2本。多次参加国际会议并发言。
