·Epidemiological studies to investigate the contribution of environmental factors (diet/lifestyle) and genetic susceptibility to the development of obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease

·Nutrition intervention studies on individuals with or at a high risk of non-communicable diseases, such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes

·Mental health (especially depression) and its relation to non-communicable diseases (obesity, diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, mortality etc.)

·Meta-analysis in nutritional epidemiology and psychiatry epidemiology
