Dr. Jing Gong is an associate professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST). She graduated with a major in Preventive Medicine in 2008 and received her Ph.D. with a major in Bioinformatics in 2013 from College of Life and Technology, HUST. Dr. Gong’s research is mainly focused on cancers related molecular epidemiology and biological big data mining. She has published over 20 original papers on SCI journals including Annals of oncologyNucleic Acids ResearchCell ReportsCarcinogenesisEuropean journal of cancer, with total IF more than 100.

Research Interest

  • Big data mining and integrative analysis from high throughput data, including both DNA and RNA sequences, protein profiling, and epigenetic profiling, to decipher genetic effects on gene regulation in cancer biology.

  • Molecular epidemiological and biochemical approaches to investigate the associations between genetic variants and susceptibility to common cancers.

  • Non-coding RNAs related bioinformatics analysis and database construction.
