Dr. Sheng Wei is Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics,the Chair of Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST). He graduated with a major in Preventive Medicine in 1995 and received his PhD in 2006 from Tongji Medical College. And Dr. Wei worked as Post Doc fellow in MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2008-2011. Dr. Wei’s research is mainly focused on food safety assessment, infectious disease epidemiology and biomarkers related to cancer and other chronic non-communicable disease. He and his team has published over 100 original papers . Dr. Wei is the recipient of the Hubei Province Second Awards of both Natural Science and Scientific Advancement.
