Dr. Chenjiang Ying is tenured Professor of Nutrition & Food hygiene.With a medical degree and MPH in environment health at Tongji Medical University, Chenjiang Ying received his PhD in 2007 at Huazhong University of Science & Technology. Over the last decade, he has focused his scientific interests on the topics related to understanding cardiovascular regulations of dietary polyphenols on endothelial cells and vascular biology, particularly about the interactions of caveolin-1 and tea polyphenols in the vessel wall, regulation of Ang II/insulin receptor mediated signaling pathway, and how the redox sensitive genes function. During his postgraduate training, he participated in International Center for Research on Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases in Kyoto, JAPAN, obtained Sasagawa Fellowship and Special Sasagawa Fellowship respectively. Up to now, He has educated and nurtured generations of undergraduates in medical, trained tens of postgraduate students including the PhDs, obtained significant achievements in his teaching career. He has coordinated/participated in plenty of research projects, like National Natural Scientific Foundation of CHINA, Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China and National basic research program of China. And he published numerous SCI journal papers and book chapters. He served as the elite member for some organizations such as Branch on Microelements in Chinese Nutrition Society, Chinese Nutrition Society in Division of Hubei province and received many academic honors including 2006-2007 Award for influencing paper on cardiovascular diseases.
