梅素容,女,1972年9月生,三级教授,博士生导师,2011年教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划资助者和2009年湖北省杰出青年基金获得者。

1995年毕业于四川大学环境系,1998年和2002年分别获武汉大学分析化学专业硕士学位和博士学位。2009年、2010年和2013年先后赴美国加州大学戴维斯分校、德国慕尼黑大学临床化学研究所和韩国国立昌原大学开展合作研究。2010年11月至今为华中科技大学同济医学院公共卫生学院教授。主要研究方向1、环境污染物暴露监测与人群健康效应研究;2、多功能分子识别复合材料研制及在复杂样品检测中的应用研究。先后承担和参加多项国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)、省部级和企业委托项目十余项,发表论文70余篇,包括Environmental Science & Technology,Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials,Biosensor & Bioelectronic, Environmental Science & Technology Letters,Science of the Total Environment等环境与健康领域高水平SCI论文,授权发明专利3项。
